Exodus 1:15-22 (Day 2)

Welcome to day 2. Hopefully you've taken some time to read the passage. Here's a few questions you might want to ask your kids today:
  1. What did Pharaoh ask the midwives to do? Did they obey? Why/Why not?
  2. What was the result?
  3. Would you consider the midwives courageous? Explain.
  4. What does it take to be spiritually courageous?

Also, encourage discussion on how this applies today. What are things you are asked to do that might go against your convictions or against God's word? How do you handle those choices? Who do you talk to about your choices or seek advice? These questions should create a way to bring this story into our lives and begin to apply the principles we learn from these midwives. It's more important to trust and obey God than to bow to the pressure of those around you.

God Bless and hope your day goes well.
