Sunday, September 7

This is the first day of LXVI, and we are so excited. We saw 50 students this morning, and read God's word together. This is exciting! I hope you encourage you kids this week to continue to pursue Christ throught the reading of His Word. Today's reading is Exodus 1:1-22. The Journal entry is only verses 1-14 of that chapter.
Parents here's a few questions you can ask your kid today:
  1. What happened to the Israelites after Joseph died?
  2. Was this part of God's plan? Why or why not?
  3. Is it possible that God's plan could mean you will suffer? Explain.
  4. What should be your response?

Just ask the questions(be sure you've read the passage as well) and let the discussion flow. There is not right or wrong way to do this, so don't be intimidated. This is only the beginning. Our prayer is that over the next few months that conversation about God's word will me the norm in households as we work together to disciple your children.

God bless and keep at it.

Brandon
