Today as I read I couldn't help but look back to see how my sins might have affected those around me. It seems that those closest to me were usually hurt as much as I during those times. Isn't it interesting that sin comes out of our selfish desires, and being selfish, we can't even see others at all. We only think of ourselves. It sounds like a redundant sentence but it is true. When we sin, we walk with mirrored blinders, all we see is ourself. During those moments, or days, or weeks, we could be destroying our lives as well as others, but would never know it.
Just as Pharaoh refused to listen to Moses and obey God, his people were being destroyed.
We must be cautious in our lives to protect those closest to us. To do that we need to learn to hear and obey God and His word.
